How fast is It?
It’s rapid fast, as soon as you look at the screen with your eyes open it will unlock your phone. It’s faster than the Touch ID

Yes, it works in total darkness as it has infrared sensors built in that project invisible dots on your face.

Unless, you have an EXACT identical twin you don’t need to worry about your data being compromised. it won’t unlock to your picture as it requires a 3D object to unlock.
What if I shave my beard off, will it recognize me?
If you suddenly shave off your beard without any data of you with clean face present in the database it will prompt you to unlock with passcode twice or may be thrice. But the next time it will recognize you and unlock as it has a neural engine built in which adapts to the physical changes, it keeps on learning each time you unlock with it.
What if I put on sunglasses or a hat?
It will unlock with sunglasses on as long as you have your eyes open. It will also unlock with hat put on, just make sure that it’s not covering your eyebrows.
What if I close my eyes?
No, it won’t unlock with your eyes closed. So, nobody can trick you in unlocking it without your consent.
What if I make different faces?
As it is constantly learning your behaviour, give it time and yeah it will unlock to your different expressions. It may not recognize you yawning because eyes get almost closed while yawning.

All Screen – No Home Button – All Swipes
How do I navigate without home button?
Going to Home
Swiping up from this bar will get you to home screen from anywhere. You are used to this if you are still a Blackberry OS 10 user. *Pun Intended*
Switching between Apps
Swiping up and holding in the middle of the screen will show you your background apps.
Another way is to swipe from the left or right edge of this bar at the bottom, it works just like swiping through images in the gallery it’s that smooth to switch between applications.
Accessing Control Centre and Notification Panel
Swiping down from the right top of the screen will bring you control centre and swiping down from the left top will bring you notification panel. Pretty neat stuff, will take a little time getting used to this but it is going to easy once got used to.
How do I call Siri?
You can always call it be saying “Hey Siri” but since the home button is not there you can long press the power button and it will greet you with Siri.
Wait, if that calls Siri then what turns the phone off?
Apple is known for getting rid of the things like the headphone jack and now the Touch ID *cough* but Apple has got you covered here, you just need to press and hold the volume up and power button together.
Oh! Okay, but wait wait wait how do I take a screenshot?
Sorry to report, it’s the android way now, you need to press the volume up and power button together to take a screenshot.
How is the screen?
Well, it’s an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panel, which mean basically two things- Great battery life and incredible Contrast of 1,000,000:1. A first in an iPhone and it is outstanding and colour accurate unlike Samsung’s Super Amoled panels which over saturates the colours. Although, this panel is also manufactured by Samsung but it is designed by Apple itself to make it colour accurate just like its LCD panels.
It’s also high resolution with 2436x1125-pixel resolution at 458 Pixels per inch. And with HDR inbuilt, the viewing experience will be immersive.
How do I fit a video to whole screen?
You just need to double tap on the video while its playing and it will adjust to whole screen.
Dual Camera with Dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
How is the camera compared to iPhone 8 plus?
The camera is as good as in the iPhone 8 plus just a lot more stable while recording as it has Dual OIS and as telephoto lens has a wider aperture of f/2.4 it focuses faster and produces slightly better results in low light compared to 8 plus.
How is the selfie camera?
It’s the same sensor found in iPhone 8 and 8 plus but here it comes with portrait mode and lighting for selfies as well and yes, the Animoji feature which is a lot fun to use. It is also accompanied by TrueDepth Camera Technology
It screams premium from all angles. The frame is made up of stainless steel which makes it very shiny, prominent on the silver variant while the space grey one looks a bit more elegant in hand.
There is good amount of heft to it which adds to its sturdy and premium feel. The notch up top is a bit annoying initially but as it is black, your eyes will get used to it after a while and I personally feel that it’s good that the front camera is up top unlike MIX series which makes using front camera a pain.
The phone is a beauty to behold because of its all glass body, excellent screen, bezel less front with stainless steel frame.
Apple being Apple, never disclose the exact capacity but it says that it will last up to two hours longer than the iPhone 7 which means you can easily expect a day of usage.
